England hermetically sealed

First some more about the new mobility regulations. It turns out that the barriers are not yet in place, but new checkpoints are being added every day. Anyone caught "out of sector" will at first be subject to a fine and loss of energy credits. Any subsequent offence will result in the person concerned being sent for "corrective training'' which as we all know is not exactly a picnic. There has been no news of the Queen's whereabouts since the 7/7 Jihad attacks, and today the Chairman announced that Buckingham Palace would be renamed the Palace of the People and opened to the public. Also St Paul's Cathedral will be known as the People's Temple, and dedicated to justice and progress. One by one all the symbols of the past are being obliterated. Maya has been trying to get some news about France since the closing of the Channel Tunnel, but no luck so far. It has not been posssible to make any international telephone calls since 7/7, and the internet only works within England as the Ministry now has complete control over all computer servers, most of which are being relocated to Sector 666. England is being hermetically sealed. The wall between England and Scotland was finished last month, and traffic there is only one way...out!
